It offers the general public and corporations a wide range of options, including world-class museums and performing venues, a thriving cultural scene, and thrilling sports. The city depends on the arts industry to draw in both emerging and well-established artists and enterprises.


The production of movies and television shows excels in New York City. Each year, the city serves as the setting for scores of films and TV shows. Steiner Studios, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and Broadway Stages are some of its film and television production facilities.
